We are pleased to announce that in 2011 we are going to be teaming up with Hidden Valley Paragliding (Chris Scammell) to offer several Lakes Mountain Masterclasses.
Chris will need no introduction to many of you but for those of you who haven’t heard of him, he is one of the UK’s best mountain pilots with an unrivalled knowledge of the Lake District. In June this year he impressed us all with a stunning 60km triangle that took him all over the park. He is now palnning to share his knowledge of xc routes, sea breeze fronts, mountain launch sites, reading conditions and countless other priceless tips that will open up your horizons and give you an understanding of just what’s possible in our fabulous home ranges.
Together with our unrivalled selection of mountain paragliding gear to demo, these courses will be an ideal opportunity to take your flying to the next level.
There are three courses currently planned, timed to take advantage of the Lakes most reliable weather period.
 The next 4 day course, for those who can’t make the first two dates or who are coming back for more, runs May 28th - 31st.
The price of each course is just £99 with a 10% discount for Cumbria Soaring Club members. Accommodation not included.
The courses will be run in the Keswick area with the venue to be announced soon.
